Simple easy majestic pink ruffle Doll dress cake designing decorating tutorial video and step by step method with pictures for all who want to do Doll dress cake designing at home or you can get the same made from a nearby cake shop or bakery too.
Step by step method for Doll dress cake designing
Roll out some pink fondant using a rolling pin according to the size of your cake. Use corn flour to avoid fondant from sticking.
Roll the fondant over the rolling pin.
This is a Chocolate Ganache cake. Gently put the rolled over fondant on the cake.
Cover the Chocolate Ganache cake with fondant. trim the edges. you may use fondant smoother to smoothen the fondant covering on the cake.
Cover another chocolate ganache cake a size smaller and place it on the bigger tier.
Now place the third and top most tier and your 3 tier fondant cake is ready.
Make a pink fondant rope and stick it around using water. Do it for all 3 tiers.
Use some skin color fondant to make the legs of the doll and place them on top tier cake, stick them using water.
Make the body and face of Doll too and place it using a wooden stick.
Make tiny shoes for the doll using dark pink fondant and stick them.
Also cover the body with dark pink fondant.
Roll out some dark pink fondant, Cut out some strips and make the Frills as shown.
Stick the frill to make the doll dress. Make more frills.
Layer up the frills to form the Doll dress.
Making hands of the Doll using skin color fondant.
Stick the hands to the body.
Roll out some dark pink fondant and cut some circles using round cutter.
Take a circle fondant and hold it from the center and bring it together leaving the edges free and slightly pinching at the bottom to form the ruffle.
Make as many fondant ruffles required to form the long tail of the Doll dress.Stick them using water.
Cover the top tier with ruffles.
Dab some water to stick the ruffles.
Stick the ruffles from top till bottom tier.
Cover one half of the cake from back curving down towards the front.
Take the trail of ruffles down till the bottom tier to complete the Doll dress.
Use some black fondant and make the hair of the doll.
Stick and curl the hair of doll towards the end.
Write the birthday message with cut out alphabets using silicone alphabet mat or small cutters.
